Meet Marielys Camacho-Reyes

Founder / President
Marielys Camacho-Reyes, MS, CAMHFA, CYMHFA, TCC, CYRC is an Army Veteran, a retired Army Wife, a storyteller, and the Founder and President of the Compassionate Hearts UNITED Foundation, Inc.
Marielys holds a Master of Science in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Psychology with a specialization in Social Psychology, focusing on Prosocial Behavior as well as Posttraumatic Growth.
Marielys was selected as one of the recipients of the 2021 Spirit of Community Award presented by the Florida Commision of the Status of Women, the 2020 Winner of The Spirit of Philanthropy Award presented by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Polk County Chapter and the GiveWell Foundation, as well as the "2019 Veteran of the Year" for the City of Haines City for her support and dedication to her community. Most recently, Marielys was honorably recognized by Congressman Darren Soto for her great impact and many contributions to her community. As part of this recognizion, Marielys' biography will be officially entered into the congressional records.
Marielys is a Certified Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aider with the National Council of Behavioral Health, a Bilingual Crisis Counselor with the Crisis Text Line, and a Certified Youth Resilience Coach with the Youth Coaching Institute.
Marielys' recent book Cleaning Out My Closet: My Road from Self-Discovery to Emotional Healing is currently available in Amazon and Walmart.

Meet John A. Morales-Camacho

Board Director / VP
John has over 3 years of experience in customer service and international studies. He has traveled the world alongside his military family, and lived in many countries, including Panama, El Salvador, Colombia, and Zimbabwe.
John recently graduated from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Law, Justice, and Advocacy.
John is currently the Assistant Security Manager at EEC Solutions.
He joins us in hopes of furthering the development of the organization, specifically its charity programs, by strengthening the relationship with our community to be able to further our fundraising opportunities.

Meet Alex Morales-Hernandez

Board Director / Treasurer
Alex Morales-Hernandez, the CEO and President of CW3RET Enterprise, LLC (DBA: EEC Solutions) was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico where he lived until he enlisted in the United States Army.
He is a 2013 graduate of Central Michigan University with a Master of Science in Administration.
Alex enlisted in the United States Army on 18 April 1995 and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer Three after 21 years of military service. He served in the Special Operations Enterprise and lastly in the Defense Attaché System as the Operations Coordinator, Assistant Army Attaché, and Acting Defense Attaché in countries such as Bolivia, Chad, El Salvador, Colombia, Malawi, Namibia, and Zimbabwe.
Alex is a recipient of numerous military awards including the 3rd highest award in the Department of State “Award for Heroism.”
He speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and French.

Meet Melody K. Morales-Camacho

Board Director / Secretary
Melody, born in Manati, Puerto Rico, traveled the world for almost 18 years alongside her two military parents and siblings.
Throughout this time, she was able to see and experience many different parts of the world, some of these being Zimbabwe, Colombia, El Salvador, Bolivia, and Panama. Understanding the diverse cultures, as well as, becoming a part of them was a factor that really impacted her upbringing and shaped her into the person she is today.
Upon returning to the United States, and in only 3 years, Melody obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Management from The University of Tampa. Shortly after graduating, she obtained a full-time job with a software development firm in St. Petersburg, FL, and became the company's youngest director as the Human Resources Director.
Melody is currently the Operations Manager at EEC Solutions.
