As a non-profit organization, one of our most prominent goals is to provide continuous opportunities for learning. Our mission specifically focuses on bridging the gap between educational opportunities and disadvantaged students, in order to provide a platform of empowerment. We partner with numerous other non-profit organizations and local businesses in order to maximize the effort and reach of this program.
Our fundraising activities for this event commence on the first day of July, in which we collect both, donated backpacks and school supplies, as well as, monetary donations and gift cards. Fundraising ends on the first week of August, and our distribution efforts take place throughout the second week of August. The individuals, groups, and organizations we help are brought to us mainly through referrals or through research conducted by our team. Our distribution efforts are carried out until all resources are exhausted.
