Every year during Christmas, the Compassionate Hearts UNITED Foundation joins forces with the American Legion Auxiliary Post 34 in Haines City to provide toys to children in need in our community.
We invite those interested in sponsoring a community child to participate in our "Santa for a Day" initiative. It's our mission that no child wakes up on Christmas Day to an empty Christmas tree, but in order for us to do that, we need your help.
Below, you will find 18 children who need our support. Please, consider adopting one child (or more if you can).
How does this work? The answer to that question is simple...
Once you have identified the child that you would like to sponsor, contact us at marielyscr@chufinc.org with the name of the child and to schedule a delivery/pick up of the toys that you would like to donate to that particular child. Toys can also be mailed to us at P.O. Box 1114 Haines City, FL 33844, or can be dropped off at the Northeast Polk Chamber of Commerce located in Haines City. Please, make sure you add the name of the child to the toy(s), so that we can match the toy(s) with the child.
When do we need the toys by?
The deadline to donate toys is no later than close of business on December 5.
